Uterine lining rejuvenation

Know about Uterine lining rejuvenation

The thickness of the endometrium is a key factor in implantation and pregnancy. Furthermore, thin endometrium has been linked to lower reproductive success rates following assisted reproductive technology (ART). There have been several treatment strategies presented to improve endometrial thickness and, as a result, endometrial receptivity.

In the early days of a pregnancy, a developing embryo implants in the lining of a woman’s uterus, also known as the endometrium. The thickness of this lining is essential for women undergoing IVF in Delhi. Before the embryo transfer, the fertility doctor will test the lining thickness to ensure that it is thick enough to implant. The best possible condition for the embryo is a dense, receptive, nourishing uterine lining, which should be at least 7 to 8mm thick and have a “trilaminar” (or “three-layered”) appearance on ultrasound.

A uterine lining that is too thin can be a serious issue in IVF in Delhi, leading to failed implantation, lining irregularities, and early pregnancy loss. There are many reasons why a woman’s lining might be thin.

Estrogen deficiency

  • Inadequate blood flow to the uterus
  • Uterine fibroids
  • Adhesions or scar tissue in the uterus triggered by damage or infection
  • Hydrosalpinx
  • Recurrent endometritis are several of the triggers (infection of the endometrial cells)

If your doctor determines that a particular anatomical problem leads to your thin endometrium, they may advise addressing the issue before attempting to conceive. To extract fibroids or patch a hydrosalpinx, for example, minimally invasive surgery can be used. A course of antibiotics can be beneficial in the case of endometritis. Treatment for other forms of conditions normally entails trying supplemental estrogen and improving blood flow to the pelvic area.

It is possible to become pregnant with a uterine lining less than 7 to 8mm thick. Still, IVF centers in Delhi may recommend that you try to thicken and strengthen your uterine lining before the embryo transfer procedure to give you a better chance of success. Here are some suggestions for promoting endometrial development.

  • Take estrogen supplements, for instance.

Your doctor can administer supplemental estrogen in the form of patches, suppositories, or oral pills. This is known as “exogenous” estrogen, which means that it is absorbed into your bloodstream from the outside. In some cases, a doctor may advise you to try an rFSH treatment like Gonal-F to encourage your body to produce more estrogen on its own. Endogenous estrogen is the name for this form of estrogen.

  1. Focus on blood supply.

The uterus needs a steady supply of blood to develop a dense endometrial lining. Improving blood flow across your body will increase blood flow to your pelvic regions, one of the most effective ways to promote endometrial lining development.

  1. Quick and deep research on dietary supplements

Supplements, vitamins, and herbs have not been proven to help thicken the uterine lining, although some research suggests that they could be beneficial. Supplemental vitamin E and L-arginine, for example, have been linked to changes in the endometrium, whereas vitamin D deficiency has been linked to implantation failure. Before beginning any new supplement, do your homework and meet with your fertility doctor.

  1. Consider Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET)

The ovarian stimulation period. The egg extraction process can be taxing on both the body and your hormones. Some fertility experts believe that freezing the embryos from an IVF in India cycle and deferring transfer until a month or two later, after their bodies have had a chance to recover from the fertility drugs, may help women with endometrial thickness have a better chance of implantation. FET has a higher success rate than fresh embryo transfer. In some cases, taking a break helps the reproductive system to “reset” and concentrate its attention on developing a thick endometrial lining.
